Day 2 Of The Shred!

I just got done working out a little while ago & I feel absolutely amazing!  I really pushed myself tonight & it was great!  Every time I was tempted to rest I would think about what Jillian says... when it burns the most you are burning the most (something to that effect).  Woo!  I'm excited for the next 28 days, but more than anything I'm excited that this is the beginning of the rest of my life!  I'm so happy that I've committed myself to making healthy decisions :]  It is so empowering to feel in control of your body & to actually feel good about yourself.

  2. Great job on day 2! Don't you feel so good after a workout, especially if you really push yourself!? I started spinning class maybe 3 months ago, and I was a little nervous. I've never done any classes at the gym, mostly because I feel so uncoordinated that I'm afraid I'd never be able to keep up. But in spinning since you're on a bike, it really takes no coordination and it's much less noticeable if you can't keep up. Basically, they do several different things. They have you stand and pedal for a while and that's called "running." They also do what they call "jumps," which I think is the most intense, calore-blasting part of the workout. That's where you stand up and pedal for a few counts, then sit down and pedal for a few counts and pedal, then stand up, sit down, etc. They'll do that for a minute or two. Let me know how it goes. I'm sure you'll like it!
